The common thread across all of these towns is the ground itself. Most of Lincoln County sits on clay hardpan that won't take water, which is why drainage work and regrading make up so much of what I do — the river-bottom towns up Highway 79 add a high water table on top of it. The newer subdivisions around Moscow Mills and the St. Charles line tend to need builder-grade yards fixed properly; the older acreage around Silex and Troy leans toward clearing and long gravel drives.
