Concrete tear-out, haul-off, and a coordinated pour — one call, dirt to finished concrete

That cracked, heaved patio or the driveway that's sinking and pooling water doesn't get better with patch jobs. I break it out, haul it off, and prep the ground underneath so it drains right — then, through a premium partnership with Schultz Concrete, I coordinate and arrange the new pour. You make one call. I handle the demo, the haul-off, the base prep, and I schedule the pour with Schultz Concrete. You're not stuck juggling three contractors who all point at each other.

Brandon Bange, owner. I bid every concrete tear-out myself.

Old concrete is a problem that spreads

A heaved sidewalk is a trip hazard. A cracked, sunken driveway funnels water toward the garage and the foundation. A failing slab or set of steps only gets worse with every freeze-thaw winter we get up here. The hard part for most folks isn't deciding to replace it — it's figuring out who tears it out, who hauls the rubble, who fixes the ground under it, and who pours the new concrete. That's four phone calls and a lot of finger-pointing. I make it one.

How the one-call tear-out and pour works

  1. I break it out. Patios, driveways, sidewalks, foundations, slabs, steps — I demolish and break up the old concrete with the right equipment for the spot, tight quarters or wide open.
  2. I haul it off. The rubble leaves your property. You're not left with a pile of broken concrete to deal with on your own.
  3. I prep the base and sub-grade. This is the part most failures trace back to. I regrade and compact the ground so the new concrete sits on solid, properly-drained dirt instead of soft fill that'll crack it again in two winters.
  4. I coordinate the pour. Through a premium partnership with Schultz Concrete, I schedule and arrange the new concrete pour for you — so the demo, the prep, and the finished concrete all line up without you chasing anybody.

One call, one point of contact, dirt to finished concrete. I manage the dirty work and the timeline; Schultz Concrete lays the finish. You just get a driveway or patio that's done right.

Frequently asked questions

Concrete Tear-Out & Removal questions I hear

Do you pour the new concrete too?

Here's how it works, and it's the best part. I do the tear-out, the haul-off, and the base prep myself. Then, through a premium partnership with Schultz Concrete, I coordinate and arrange the new pour for you. So yes — you get finished concrete — but you only make one call. I manage the demo, the prep, and the schedule, and I line the pour up with Schultz Concrete so you're not juggling contractors who blame each other when something's off.

What kinds of concrete do you tear out?

Patios, driveways, sidewalks, foundations, slabs, and steps. If it's cracked, heaved, sunken, or just in the way of what you want to build, I break it out and haul it off. Tight backyard or wide-open driveway, I've got the right machine for it.

Why does the ground under the concrete matter so much?

Because that's where most concrete failures start. If the old slab cracked or sank, the dirt under it was usually soft, poorly compacted, or holding water. Pouring new concrete on that same bad base just buys you a few years before it cracks again. I dig out the soft stuff, regrade for drainage, and compact a solid sub-base — that's the difference between concrete that lasts and concrete you replace twice. It ties right into the driveway and pad prep work I do.

How much does concrete removal cost around here?

It comes down to how much concrete there is, how thick it is, whether it's reinforced with rebar or wire, and how easy it is to get a machine to it. A small sidewalk is a different number than a two-car driveway and a foundation. I measure the actual job and give you a straight figure — tear-out and haul-off, plus the coordinated pour if you want the whole thing handled.

Can you just do the tear-out and haul-off if I have my own concrete guy?

Absolutely. If you've already got a concrete contractor, I'll handle the demo, haul-off, and base prep and leave you a clean, compacted pad that's ready to pour. The coordinated pour through Schultz Concrete is there if you want it — it's not something I force on you.

How fast can you get out?

I bid most jobs the week you call, and the work usually lands in the next two-to-three weeks, weather permitting. Want a quick read? Call (573) 754-2482 or text me a photo of the concrete you want gone.
